Hostea — Brand Creation & Identity
Hostea was created end-to-end as a complete branding exercise, from concept and naming to visual identity and storytelling.
The name Hostea comes from “Hosti,” meaning elephant in Assamese, symbolizing the deep coexistence between humans, elephants, and tea plantations in Assam. This relationship—complex, historic, and evolving—became the emotional foundation of the brand.
The logo merges an elephant and a teapot into a single form, visually expressing the inseparable bond between tea culture and the natural ecosystem of Assam.
Hostea is positioned as a premium Assam tea brand and forms part of the AssamCup product portfolio.
